In Rev 10:1-7 the Lord asked John NOT to write down the voice he heard.Q: Why?
A: the answer is obvious - to drive the point home, that is, NEVER treat the promise of judgment as a joke. No, never, never!

Note: the Victoria fall is called "mosi oa tunya" in zimbabwean, which means "smoke that thunders"
