Before Simon Peter met Jesus and responded to His call, he lived a life that is empty, just as he said, "We have worked hard all night, but caught nothing."
Jesus said to him, "Go into deep waters and let down the net for a catch."
At first Peter doubted but obeyed saying, "Because you say so I will let down the net." Then he caught a boatful of fish.
Last night (Dec. 7, 2012) at the Friday students meeting at Kenya Nairobi, pursuant to Pastor Mark Yoon's request, I served a message on Luke 5:5-6 for a student Fred who graduated from Univ. of Nairobi (double major - communication and economics). [The one wearing a gown in the picture.]
Fred studied the Bible in Kenya UBF for last four years. Shepherd Kevin faithfully served him. Please pray for Fred to hold onto the word of our Lord Jesus to live as a shepherd for His flock, as he is embarking on a new journey - he is about to get out of the campus environment into a "dog-eat-dog" world.
