Farewell to Shavu

I used to own a pickup truck which I gave the name "shavu" after the name of the street where her burial site is located.

She came to my life when I bought her for $1k at the Westside car sales office near the city of Anderson.

We've done a lot of interesting projects together traveling  all around the nor cal, even to chico area often times with my Nacho seated next to me.

One day however she kicked the bucket: suffered from a heart attack for the engine gasket blew up (repair bill: $2400 way over the budget).

I chose the Peace Camp as the place for her RIP. But the providence did not allow this to continue.

Thus on a bright spring day I took her to a funeral home - the Pick and Pull (19929 viking way Redding) the yard with a Majestic View of Mt. SHASTA. (Twin View Towing towed the car for $135).

P.S. She bequethed for me $24 - a check made payable to the order of Isaac Hyung Kim the beloved owner.

The following day in memory of Shavu the owner got built a Cathedral entitled "The Cathedral of the Perishing" and it stands at the place where Shavu used to sit.
