From April 22-29 a visit to S. Korea was made: 1) to attend

the UBF Staff Meeting at Busan (4/22-24) and 2) to make visits to 

local chapter that is: Pusan UBF; Ulsan UBF; Asan UBF (serving

S. Seoul University, Kongjo Chunan Engineering Division, 

Hoseo Univ., Dankook Univ., Nazarette Univ., Korea Tech, and

Sooncheon Hyang Univ.) Yeonhee UBF; Hongik Univ.; and Kwanak 7.

We love because he first loved us

We love because he FIRST loved us. 
1 John 4:19

At 4:40 a.m. April 23, 2019 I had the luck and joy of seeing face to face (for the first time in my life) so as to be able to hold hands together and shake hands and take a picture together with Shepherdess ESTHER, the better half of Shepherd Moses Lee of Sungdong UBF and presently the Korea UBF director. 

At 3:30 a.m. I woke up at the bedroom no. 1107 of the Glory Condo (located at the Haeundae Beach Pusan) where the Korean UBF staff conference is in progress. I slid out of the condo, walked around the street side developed on the beach front, dropped by an E-mart, took a cup of coffee
(Americano) and came back to the condo/hotel, approached the elevator area to go up to the sleeping quarters. 

There stood on the opposite side a mini stand showing food menu. One of the food menu on the signboard reads "전통 재래식 옛날 짜장면 - 5000원!" The black noodle (짜장면) in the picture looked so delicious yet priced so cheap. Then one lady wearing a red jacket stood nearby waiting for the elevator to open. Without myself knowing I said to the lady (a total stranger) "아이구 사모님 이 짜장면 광고 좀 보세요. 어쩌면 이렇게 싸죠?" 

Then the lady responded instantly, "아니에요. 서울은 4천원해요!" Thus I took courage and asked her "아 짜장면을 한번 먹어 봐야겟는데 식당이 어디에 붙어 잇는지 아시나요?" In her kindness she examined the signboard and said, "이 짜장면은 무슨 식당에 가서 먹는것이 아니라 호텔 사우나실에 들어가서 투고음식으로 시켜먹는것이에요." 

Then the elevater door opened. Both of us stepped into the elevater. IN HER Kindness she asked me " 몇층으로 가시죠?" I said "십일층 부탁합니다". 

The elevater arrived at the 11th floor. I got out and so she did. Then before parting the company she took a straight look at me and said, "저 성동센타의 이 에스트에요!" 

(Wow! Finally I came to meet her face to face! I HEARD about her life of faith so many times but  never Had chace to see her face to face! Even before I Ieft Rocklin California to attend the staff cinference I was wondering who she might be for in the course of securing the list of Korean staff members and chapter prayer tooics through  Elijah Lee of tonkyo ubf I could see that she is a woman of prayer!) 

I was so glad to see her face to face that I almost hugged her (but just held her hands) and asked her to take a picture with me using my selfie. 

And thank you Shepherdess Esther for introducing yourself FIRST to me saying "저 성동의 이 애스트에요!", which reminds me of the alostle John's call for love in saints fellowship saying "We love because he FIRST loved us."
