It is scary to see Jesus proclaiming the good news for the poor, for his speech uncovers the devil's scheme, that is, catching a man to be a prisoner of war, so to speak, then, blindfolding the victim, and then devil is ready to harrass the prey. Jesus came to free prisoners, restore their sight, and proclaim freedom for the oppressed, for he says in his first public speech that he came to proclaim the good news to the poor, that is, prisoners, the blind, and the oppressed. What was done need to be undone. He came to undo the work of the devil. So the question becomes: who falls victim to the devil's scheme, and why? How does one become a victim? And how can he be set free and stay free?
