Christians believe that one lives for all and all for one.
The Apostle Paul explains this concept saying, "And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again." 2Co 2:15
The end purpose for this operation is for God to be "all in all" as the Apostle states, "When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all." In the same vision Jesus also said on the night before His departure, "On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you." John 14:20
The deal is then:
* One for all
* All for one
* All in all
Non-Christians go differently, for each person worships (or serves or simply lives for) his or her own god or gods. In India there are millions of gods, and so is the case with other nations such as Japan where the number of gods is great, and their numbers keep increasing. Some say, "I worship nobody. I do not worship any gods. I am an atheist. I just live my own life." But still he or she lives for himself or herself. He is a self-worshiper so to speak.
Communists live for material. For them the only thing that is for real is material and material alone. So they live and die for material. Capitalists are not that much different than communists in terms of what they are after. Democracy is based on what people want. It is people-oriented.
In North Korea, so far they instituted a human worship, that is, all North Koreans living for one person (Il-sung Kim) (and of course his successors like Jeong-il Kim and Jeong-un Kim). They call the Communist Party as "Mother Party" whereas the Leader (like Il-sung Kim) Father. So one person Il-sung Kim lives for all N. Koreans, and all N. Koreans for Il-sung Kim. There is therefore supreme solidarity. All behave like one person. Haven't you seen the goose stepping of N. Korean military march? The problem though is the incompleteness of the "Leader". For one thing, the so called "Leader" keeps dying. Il-sung Kim died, Jeong-il Kim died, and sooner than later Jeong-un will also die.
But it is not so with Jesus Christ. He rose again and he is living. He is at work with each person in Spirit. Plus, he is the one who has 'all' authority - in heavens and on earth. How much is 'all'? All is all.
Have a good night.
