Love your neighbor as you love yourself

From 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday April 6, 2013, at the main sancuary of LA UBF, Dr. James Chin-kyung Kim, Ph.D (in Philosphy), President of Pyongyang University of Science and Technology (North Korea), visited us and gave a lecture on the love of Christ.

He gave a personal testimony on his walk in the Lord. He says "I am not a communist, not a capitalist, but a 'lovist' meaning a man who believes in the love of Christ". In his lecture he said lovism consists of 7 elements:

- understand each other
- before sunset reconcile with each other
- forgiveness (those who do not forgive live only in the past and the present alone; they have no future)
- sacrifice
- respect others
- saying "I am sorry"
- say "thank you"

He learned of the value of every soul based on Genesis 1:26-28 where it is written God created man in his image.

At PUST elite students working on advanced degrees. To run the school he is in need of a lot of money every day, which all should come from somewhere. He also runs a program to feed children who are starving to death. An adoption program for one child comes with price, that is, donations from patrons.

After lecture Missionary John Kwon announced that anyone who desires to donate for N. Korea should send cash money to him. I saw on the spot some people opening their wallets and donating cash money.

After the dinner we had a joyful eating fellowship. Missionary John Kwon closed the meeting with the prayer that the Lord God would establish N. Korea as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
