No. 1 - identify the source of stress
an example -
On August 25, Saturday, to visit a friend of mine, I traversed from Madrid ("estacion chamartin") to Lisbon ("estacion oriente") via a night train second class. It could have been an otherwise horrible journey for a number of reasons: 10 hours of train ride + night time with no scenery + no sleeper + hard seat + crowded with young restless/sleepless folks with backpacks constant chit-chats in portuguese/spanish + no room to stretch your legs + no power outlet for your laptop + your body aching getting senile).
No. 2 - dive into the 7 dips of relaxation
1) open the bible to Revelation 6 and register in your mind what each seal brings up.
2) turn them into image files.
3) save (in your brain).
4) close your eyes.
5) start meditating (the imports).
6) go deeper.
7) repeat the process (until you fall into a trance)
If you train yourself well, you (spirit, mind, body) can get into a trance (a relaxation mode in 60 seconds or sooner).
No. 3 - come out relieved
The travel via the night train (departure at 10:40 p.m. from chamartin and arrival at estacion oriente at 8:30 a.m. next morning) involved a series of stop-and-gos. But I relaxed well (fell asleep while rolled up tight in a hard seat) that I forgot to get off at the destination station - "estacion oriente". So I had to ride a local train one station backward, but still relieved!
